New Born Intensive Care Unit( NICU)

The advanced neonatal Intensive Care Unit is temperature regulated and well equipped to handle prematurely born newborns, very low birth weight babies, babies with jaundice requiring exchange transfusion as well as those with infection and respiratory distress. Two Bear cub ventilators are 24available for ventilating neonates. Our results with babies as low as 1000gms in weight are comparable with the best in the region.
There are adequate numbers of warmers, phototherapy units and incubators together with facilities for central oxygen and suction, to cater to any neonatal problems.

Outpatient Services

A general OPD functions on all days except Sunday, from 8 AM to 3 PM.evening 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Emergency Services

There is a qualified pediatrician on duty in the hospital 24 hours a day to cater to any emergency. The casualty is well equipped and all children brought to casualty are seen at the earliest by the duty casualty medical officer. If deemed necessary the duty Pediatrician is called to manage the child.
